- Visit Ben Ezra Synagogue, located in Old Cairo's Fustat. Folklore says it's where Moses was discovered. This synagogue's Geniza or storage chamber included lost Hebrew, Aramaic, and Judeo-Arabic secular and religious texts in the 19th century
- Visit Amr in al-As Mosque was established in 641–642 AD as the hub of Egypt's new city, Fustat. The first mosque in Egypt and Africa. Al-Al-Azhar Muizz's Mosque in Islamic Cairo superseded it as a center of Islamic study after 600 years. It was the Islamic world's fourth-largest mosque in the 20th century
- Enjoy visiting Saint Virgin Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church, popularly known as the Hanging Church, dates to the third century. It's part of Alexandria's Coptic Orthodox Church
- Travel to Alexandria, and check out the Citadel of Qaitbay, a defensive castle built in the 15th century on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea
- Visit The Montaza Palace in Alexandria, Egypt, which has a palace, museum, and expansive grounds. Located on a bluff to the east of the city center of Alexandria, it offered stunning views of the Mediterranean from its beachfront location
- Compass Alexandria's Great Library was one of the world's biggest and most important ancient libraries. The Mouseion, a study center devoted to the Muses, housed the Library
