What you gonna see
The Egyptian pyramids of Giza
Pharaoh Khufu, who lived during the Old Kingdom’s Fourth Dynasty, was laid to rest in Egypt’s biggest pyramid, the Great Pyramid of Giza. Constructed in the early 26th century BC over the course of about 27 years, the pyramid stands as the first and only surviving marvel of the ancient world’s Seven Wonders. The Giza pyramid complex, which includes the most well-known structure inside it, is a part of the “Memphis and its Necropolis” UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located at the northernmost point of the Giza triangle, it is one of the three pyramids there.
Sphinx
An eagle’s wings, a lion’s body, and a human’s head make up the fabled sphinx (often spelled sphinxes or sphinges in Ancient Greek and Boeotian, respectively).
The sphinx is a malevolent and vicious monster with a bird’s wings, a lion’s body, and a woman’s head in Greek mythology. Greek mythology describes her as a monster that murders and consumes everyone who doesn’t solve her riddle. The tragic story of Oedipus features this lethal sphinx.
The egyptian Museum
Located in Cairo, Egypt, the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, better known as the Egyptian Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of Egyptian antiquities. It has more than 120,000 artifacts, a portion of which are on exhibit. The biggest museum in Africa is housed in a structure that was constructed in 1901 and is located in Tahrir Square. The golden burial mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun is one of its most famous artifacts and a potent emblem of ancient Egypt; it is also one of the world’s most famous masterpieces.
